  • No new deaths (total = 2)

South Dakota 

  • 658 new cases (total = 33,269; 7-d average = 672/day [record high])
  • 8,012 active cases (record high)
  • Test positivity using number of people tested as the denominator (7-d average) = 36% 
  • 42 new hospital admissions (total ever hospitalized = 2,119; 7-d average = 36/day)
  • 300 people currently hospitalized (down from a high of 304 people on 10/15/20)
  • 8 new deaths (total = 323)
